Mr. Gordon received a BS in 1965 from Pennsylvania State University, and a JD in 1969 from New York Law School.  Mr. Lowell is the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Awards in Criminal Law, Trust and New York Practice and Procedure.

Mr. Gordon was admitted to the bar in the state of New York in 1970, the District of Columbia in 1972, Maryland in 1976, the US Supreme Court in 1977, the US Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit in 1998, and the US District Court of Maryland in 1999.
