Hawaii child support is based upon official child support guidelines. Other factors considered in calculating child support are: 

  • the relative merits of the parties; 

  • the relative abilities of the parties;

  • the condition of the parties after the divorce;

  • the burdens imposed on the parties for the benefit of the child; and

  • all other circumstances of the case.
