Eric Solotoff is a partner at Donahue, Hagan, Klein, Newsome & O’Donnell, P.C., located in Morristown and Short Hills, New Jersey. He practices in Morris, Essex, Bergen, Somerset, Hunterdon, Union, Passaic, Hudson, Sussex, Warren, Middlesex, Monmouth and Mercer Counties as well as in the Appellate courts of New Jersey.

Attorney Biography

Eric Solotoff received his Bachelor in Arts undergraduate degree with in Psychology from State University of New York at Albany University in 1989. Mr. Solotoff received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in 1992. Mr. Solotoff is a member of the American Bar Association and New Jersey Bar Association, Family Law Sections. He is also a member of the Morris, Essex and Bergen County Bar Associations. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Essex County Bar Association. He is also the vice-chair of the Law Practice Management Committee of the American Bar Association Family Law Section. He is also a Master in the New Jersey Family Law Inns of Court.

In addition, he has been involved in more than 30 appellate matters during his career including reported decisions in Crews v. Crews, Moriarty v. Bradt, Wilde v. Wilde, Brawer v. Brawer and Eaton v. Grau. Mr. Solotoff has achieved an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell which indicates very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar. Mr. Solotoff was recently selected to be included in the 10 Under 40 Program for Family and Matrimonial Law - the program was established to identify the leading New Jersey attorneys under forty years of age who have consistently demonstrated the highest standards in their respective area of specialization.

Mr. Solotoff has served as a panelist for the Essex, Morris, Bergen and Union County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panels. He has also lectured on family law and related topics to judges at Judicial College, before the bar groups as well as in law school and paralegal training classes. Mr. Solotoff has also served as a judge for Rutgers Law School’s Moot Court competition.

Mr. Solotoff has also been selected as one of the 10 Leaders in Matrimonial and Divorce Law Under the Age of 45 in North Jersey compiled by Digital Press International (LeadingDivorceAttorneys.com). Mr. Solotoff was also selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers, Rising Stars edition to be published in "New Jersey Monthly" magazine in August 2006.
